SUBSTITUTE TEACHER INFORMATION

You will be eligible to substitute teach in the West Lafayette Schools when you provide verification of the following to the Office of the Superintendent:

  • Completed WLCSC Application for Substitute Teaching.  (An application may be picked up at the Administrative Offices at 1130 N. Salisbury Street, West Lafayette, IN.  Please complete and return to our office before applying for a substitute permit.)

  • Copy of transcripts (verifying successful completion of at least 60 semester credit hours at a college or university)

  • Résumé that includes evidence of successful work experience with school-age children.(experience at a day-care, summer youth camp, 4-H boy or girl scouts, church youth group, tutoring, etc.)
  • Three (3) references including name, title, address and telephone number.
  • An Indiana teaching license, OR a substitute permit applied for at the link below
