WLCSC Continuous Learning Plan

If you borrowed a Chromebook from the school and have not returned it yet, please plan to return it to the West Lafayette Intermediate school location Mon-Fri from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. 

What is eLearning?

Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) established eLearning days in 2011 for organizational purposes and expanded the program to include inclement weather days in 2014 as a response to schools that had the ability to provide high-quality instruction digitally.

Message from Superintendent


Proposed Timeline

May 4:  Central office hours will be 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.  Staff may make an appointment when necessary.  On Monday, June 1, 2020, central office will be open for customary central office business unless the Governor adjusts his executive order.  Those who need assistance should call central office at 765/746-1602 to make an appointment to come in.   Also, beginning May 26, Central Office summer hours will commence.

May 11:  WLCSC schools will be open to WLCSC staff.  Staff members are not required to report to school.  However, staff members should come in to get their personal belongings by May 25 so schools can close on May 26 for deep cleaning.  Staff members do not need to inform their building principal if they are coming into the school.
