folder COVID-19 Reopening Plan
August 3, 2021
Dear WLCSC Parents/Guardians,
The West Lafayette Community School Corporation has revised the Reopening Plan for the 2021-2022 school year as of August 2, 2021. With guidance from the Indiana Department of Health, Tippecanoe County Health Department, and the CDC in coordination with the staff, administration, corporation physicians, and the school board, the board-approved plan is posted to www.wl.k12.in.us/Covid-19 and will be continued to be revised when necessary. As of this change, face masks are required for all staff, students, and visitors when indoors and not eating, regardless of vaccination status.
The school corporation appreciates the support and guidance of the community. The leadership admires the extra efforts of the students, families, and staff during this continual challenge. Thank You.
The CDC provides guidance for face masks. This guidance provides information on types of face masks, acclimating to wearing face coverings, and cleaning/storing face masks. Please refer to the WLCSC Reopening Plan for further guidance on accepted face masks.
