2025 March-A-Thon!

A message from WLJSHS Bands

Our marching band, The Sound of West Side, has an annual event called the March-A-Thon, in which we march around the city and perform concerts at both private residences and public sites. The community is welcome to purchase a private concert at their home, or this year, may also purchase/sponsor an individual song at one of the public sites.

March-A-Thon is on Saturday, September 20 this year. If you're interested in purchasing a concert/song or just want to know more about the event please visit https://wlbands.com/marchathon/

Our day will begin with the first public performance at the Jr/Sr High around 8:45 am, with other public sites including University Farms Park, Lommel Park, Brokerage, and Silver Dipper (Sagamore location). We will also be hosting a "Dine and Donate" event with Mad Mushroom (next door to Silver Dipper) to support the band program.
