ACEing Autism is coming to West Lafayette! This program helps children with autism find acceptance, connection, and health benefits through tennis, while giving volunteers the chance to better understand and support children with autism.

All equipment is provided, including tennis racquets, balls, and shirts for both participants and volunteers. Sessions start later this month at the new West Lafayette Elementary School tennis courts.

✅ Families of children with autism are encouraged to register.
✅ Volunteers are needed to make the program a success!

The West Lafayette Community Schools Athletic Complex Track located at 1000 Cumberland Avenue will be closed for demolition and reconstruction beginning on Monday, June 9th. Construction is projected to be complete by July 31^st. Information updates will be shared through Skyward and social media. We thank the community for your continued support of our schools, and we look forward to offering improved experiences for our student athletes and the community.

We thank all who have already provided ideas for our strategic plan. This effort started last fall, and we appreciate the community support we have seen throughout this process. As we close the school year, we now invite all our WLCSC community to provide final comments on our 5-Year Strategic Plan.

The Tippecanoe County Health Department is hosting a free, family-friendly Back to School Carnival to help everyone get ready for the new school year. The carnival will feature immunizations, important health resources, and a raffle with prizes. It's a one-stop event to help make sure families are prepared for the year ahead. It's happening on August 20th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tippecanoe County Health Department, located at 1950 South 18^th Street, Lafayette.
